CULLMAN, Ala. – The annual City vs. County Blood Drive will be held on Friday, June 21, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

To donate for the City of Cullman team, visit the bloodmobiles at Dick’s Sporting Goods or the north Walmart North. To support the Cullman County team, visit the bloodmobiles at the Cullman County Courthouse or south Walmart on Friday, June 21, between 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

“With four designated locations to donate, each blood donor can choose to support the City of Cullman or Cullman County by selecting a specific donor site designated for either,” West said. “Donations made during this blood drive are used locally, so great participation is vital for our community. We hope to see everyone there.”

West shared that there are several notable sponsors this year and participants will leave with some goodies.

“The Cullman Cattlemen and Cattle Women’s Association partners with LifeSouth each year to donate steak sandwiches to all blood donors ,” West said. “We are so fortunate to have that type of community support, and both LifeSouth and government volunteers are grateful for the Association’s support.”
