CULLMAN, Ala. – The 3Sixty Jeep Club is bringing a special Father’s Day delivery to the residents of Hanceville Nursing & Rehab. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, jeepers will roll up to the facility in style, and put their jacked up Jeeps and automobiles on display. The goal is to bring out the young at heart while giving the residents a new reason to smile.

“We are doing it for the residents,” said Summer Shaddix, one of the event organizers. “We want to make their day brighter.”

Shaddix asks that the public bring small rubber ducks for the residents to award to their favorite Jeeps, sharing the Jeep club culture with a new generation.

“If you are bringing a Jeep, maybe bring extra ducks, give the residents something to smile about,” said Shaddix.

The passing of a rubber duck is a massive compliment in the Jeep world. Known as “duck-duck-Jeep,” the quirky tradition began as a way to share a smile and say, “Cool Jeep!” Jeep owners display their ducks all over their vehicles as a banner of pride.

The car show is free to attend and enter and not just limited to Jeeps within the club; all vehicles are welcome at the show: classic, muscle, vintage or otherwise. The club does ask that interested participants register online before the show to ensure an available spot. Due to lot size and parking restrictions, a headcount is needed to make sure the show doesn’t impede traffic for the facility and its residents ‘ families. All participants in the show must arrive before 1 p.m. to locate their designated spot.
