Cullman County Public Library System kick-off event June 5

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Public Library System is gearing up for an exciting start to the 2024 Summer Reading Program, “Adventure Starts at the Library.” The kick-off event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, beginning at 10 a.m.

This event invites participants of all ages to register for the “Adventure Starts at the Library” Summer Reading Program. The library will be distributing reading logs for both adults and children, as well as library passports and Youth Writing Contest forms. These materials are designed to encourage and guide participants through a summer filled with reading challenges and literary adventures.

From 10-11a.m., attendees can enjoy complimentary Fro’z Shaved Ice. There will also be a variety of lawn games, including cornhole, giant Jenga and more for visitors to enjoy.

For those unable to attend the kick-off event, reading logs and writing contest forms will still be available at the library’s circulation desk throughout the summer.

This event marks the beginning of a summer dedicated to reading and adventure at the Cullman County Public Library.
