Timothy Dudley Walker, age 63, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He was born April 30, 1961, in Cullman, Alabama, son of Wanda Walker and the late C.D.(C-Buck) Walker.
Tim was an outstanding high school athlete at Fairview High School.
After high school he continued his love of sports playing men’s softball for many years. Tim began working in the family business, Walker Brothers, full time after high school and upon the death of his father he became one of three family partners in Walker Brother’s building supply in Baileyton, Alabama where he worked until his death. He served on the Board of Directors of Peoples Bank of Alabama, and was a member of Baileyton Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Doreen Walker, son Shannon (Kelsi) Walker, daughter, Chelsy (Hilary) Walker, step-daughter Vanessa (Mont) Kennamer, four grandchildren Kaylie, Draven, Raeleigh and Jordan, mother, Wanda Walker Clay, brothers, Alan (Amy) Walker, Terry (Tressa) Walker, many nieces and nephews and Robin Fullilove Walker, mother of his children.
He is preceded in death by his father, C. D (C-Buck) Walker, granddaughter, Raegan Walker, and daughter Heather Walker. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Tim Walker Scholarship, Peoples Bank of Alabama, 1912 Cherokee Ave., Cullman, AL 35055
Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Moss Service funeral home and from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Thursday.
