BIRMINGHAM, AL. – Birmingham-Southern College’s baseball program invites all fans and supporters to join them at Tasty Town restaurant, located at 16 14th St. S, Birmingham, AL, on Tuesday, May 28th at 5:30 p.m. This promises to be an electrifying send-off as the team embarks on its journey to the Division III College World Series.

Following a hard-fought win over #2 Denison, with a final score of 7-6, the Birmingham-Southern baseball team secured their inaugural Super Regional title. This momentous win not only marks a significant achievement for the team but also earns them a coveted spot in the Division III College World Series, a feat not accomplished since 2019.

As Birmingham-Southern College is in its final days of normal operations, appreciation is given to the support received from The Poarch Creek Indians.

“The Poarch Creek Indians are proud to announce a donation of $25,000 to help the Birmingham Southern Baseball Team hit their goal towards attending the Division III National Championship. We believe in the power of sports to unite communities and inspire excellence, teamwork, and perseverance.

We are honored to contribute to the success of these talented athletes and although they have faced incredible challenges this year, they continue to show us all how to persevere in the face of adversity.

We wish them the best of luck and are confident they will represent not only Birmingham-Southern, but our entire state of Alabama with pride and distinction.” – Poarch Creek Indians

The BSC baseball team is also being supported by a grassroots effort with a Go Fund Me account.

“Help support Birmingham-Southern baseball in its historic final season! As BSC is on the way to the College World Series,” said Hulse Patio Social Club on their fundraiser page.

“All funds will be used for travel expenses and championship rings. Any remaining funds will go to BSC baseball staff to help in their next steps. Yeah Panthers! Forward, ever. Always. Let’s win the whole damn thing!”

The Panthers will play in the Division III College World Series in East Lake, Ohio beginning on Friday, May 31. To help the team with expenses on their postseason journey, please donate here.
