Funeral services for Charles Hosmer, 85, of Hanceville will be 2 p.m. Saturday May 25th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Bangor Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Wisener will be officiating services. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Hosmer was born April 4, 1939, to the late Charles Thomas and Beatrice (Gilliland) Hosmer in Bibb County, Alabama. He passed away May 20, 2024, in Hanceville, Alabama.
Survivors include his children, Susan (O’Neal) Cobb, Dewayne Hosmer, Joyce Sears, and Randall Hosmer; grandchildren, Jessica Gable, Brandon Cobb, Nicholas Cobb, Caley Sears, Connor Sears, Presston Eddy; great grandchildren, Joshua Ketcher, and Elly Le Cobb; brother, Larry (Deborah) Hosmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hosmer was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hosmer.
