CULLMAN, Ala. – The United Way of Cullman County (UWCC) will host its Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 30, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Loft 212, where the past year’s community efforts and endeavors will be recognized and honored publicly. Also recognized will be the donors, volunteers and board members who keep the organization and its 19 partner agencies afloat.

“Even though I have been with United Way for a short period of time, it is overwhelming the impact it has been in my life. I have seen God in more ways than ever in the work of the hands of our community,“ said Resource Development & Outreach Manager Taylor Johnson. “I cannot wait to celebrate the 2023 calendar year and advocate what resources we have through our partner agencies at our 45th Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet.”

While the UWCC is, in and of itself, a charitable organization that offers countless resources to the Cullman area, it also supports partner nonprofits and other agencies including Cook Ministries, the Cullman County Center for the Developmentally Disabled, First Source for Women and more. The UWCC is also home to the United Way Food Insecurity Task Force, a congregation of individuals focused on feeding as many people in need in Cullman County as possible through partner agencies, local food banks, churches and other organizations working to combat food insecurity.

Seating for the UWCC Annual Meeting may be reserved by purchasing individual tickets for $35 or a full table for eight guests for $350. Tickets are available for purchase at www.eventbrite.com/e/united-way-of-cullman-countys-annual-meeting-award-banquet-tickets-886435371057?aff=oddtdtcreator or in person at the UWCC office at 304 First Ave. NE.
