CULLMAN, Ala. – Pets are great additions to any family or household, often ending up loving, cherished members of the family. Prospective pet parents often look for a fluffy pal that can play around in the yard but also alert when danger lurks. Lucky for them, loyal and protective are two things that Toby, The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week, totally embodies.
Toby is an approximately 3-year old mixed breed male with large stature; his mix is unknown, but the staff at the Cullman County Animal Shelter is convinced he is made up of everything lovable and good. His sweet demeanor, large stature and black and brown points on his ears, left eye and tail, lend a certain similarity to The Little Rascal’s pal, Petey.
This gentle giant’s medium-high energy level ensures a fetch playmate or a walking and hiking buddy for years to come.
His eyes never stray far from his person when outside. Shooting to your side when called, Toby is well on his way to becoming a well-educated pup, learning more hand signals and manners each day.
Are you ready to meet Toby? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.
His adoption fee of $130 includes neuter, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
