CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cornerstone Revival Center (CRC) ALTARED Youth group is hosting a BBQ fundraiser to support its growing ministry.
Youth Pastor Jordan Fitzgerald and his wife, Jade, run CRC’s Youth Ministry.
“Every Friday night, our ALTARED Youth meets for service, Bible study or fun and fellowship. On these Friday nights, we (also) feed the youth,” Jade Fitzgerald said. “This fundraiser is to help support those Friday night gatherings and to provide fuel for any out-of-town excursions.”
The CRC congregation is providing and will prepare the meat and all the traditional fixins and sides for a proper Southern BBQ plate. A donation of $10 will get you a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, pickle, chips and desert. Drinks will also be available for purchase on-site.
The ministry can accept cash, card or checks from reputable businesses for the plates. Jordan Fitzgerald offered an option for those businesses that may want to place a larger order for an office or a team, saying, “We can also provide donation receipts for offices or businesses, if needed, for tax deductions.”
Plates can be ordered by calling or texting 256-338-0389; orders must be received by Tuesday, May 14. Meals are available to be picked up at CRC on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Delivery is available upon request at the time of ordering.
Cornerstone Revival Center is located at 3151 Alabama Highway 69.
