George Marion Teague of Vinemont, Alabama passed away May 7, 2024.

George graduated Vinemont High School in 1981, and went on to serve our country in the US Air Force for two years. Following his return from service, George received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Athens State College in April of 2016. George worked with The Lighthouse of Cullman (a non-profit rehabilitation center) for some time before pursuing a career in industrial maintenance for West Rock Packaging. George was an outdoorsman as some of his favorite past times included gardening, fishing, and grilling. He was also very handy. George could be counted on to fix almost anything, and build things from the ground up. George was someone who believed in giving as many chances as someone needed, no matter the circumstances to help them overcome the obstacles they faced.
