Nancy Debra Self age 68 of Vinemont, Alabama passed away April 26, 2024. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Linda T. Seal Wyatt and father Warren Taylor Wyatt. Nancy is survived by her husband of 22 years Stephen Self, daughters Kelley Hamilton and Crystal (Anthony) Foster, sons Dusty (Amy) Self, Jason (Tonya) Self, and Casey (Nicole) Yocom, sister Diane Vardaman, brother David Wyatt, grandchildren Morgan Wood, Hannah Lynch, Owen Hamilton, Addy Hamilton, Cameron Self, Emmaline Self and nine others. Great grandchildren Kagan Lynch and sixteen others.
Debra had a 45-year career as a certified pharmacy technician. She worked in a number of different retail pharmacies in Cullman and Collierville, TN. She retired from Cullman Regional Medical Center in April 2023 after working in the pharmacy department for 14 years. She loved working with people and helping people.
She loved her family with all her heart and treasured her time with them and especially her grandchildren and KK her great granddaughter. She also loved her two pups Max and Riley greatly as well as Bullitt and Beau who passed before her. Her joy was watching and attending Atlanta Braves and Alabama football games with Steve, her husband. Her greatest love was the beach. She just wasn’t the same if she didn’t get her yearly trip for the sand, sun and great food. She really enjoyed going out on Smith Lake with Steve on their boat too. And last but not least, she loved her girlfriends and enjoyed spending time with them and texting them.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel from 12 p.m. up until the Funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tim Lipsey officiating. Interment will follow services at Cullman City Cemetery.
