Funeral Service for Derrick James Barton, age 53 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Darren Peeples, Chuck Shikle, Mick Patrum, Charlie Thornton and Perry St. John officiating; Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. At the end of the celebration of life there will be a last ride in honor of Derricks life. Anyone that wants to ride is more than welcome to get in line behind the Jack Aces.
Mr. Barton passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his residence in the loving arms of his spouse, Marcie surround with family and friends. He was born Wednesday, October 14, 1970, to James Barton and Gail Harris.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife Marcie Witcher Barton; daughter, Lindsie (Wesley) Waters; son, Alex Barton; bonus children, Zack Baswell, Mackenzie (Tristan) Hulsey and Kaden Gardner; grandchildren, Brantley & Creed Baswell, Adleigh Hulsey; mother, Gail Harris; stepmother, Donna Barton; sister, Michelle Patrum; A host of nieces, nephews, family & friends and the lifelong family he had with the Jack Aces.
