(7:25 p.m.) UPDATE: Cody Brown is in custody
CULLMAN, Ala. – Earlier today, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the East Point area. The driver, identified as Cody Weston Brown, 32, of Crane Hill, stopped and immediately fled the area on foot, according to the CCSO.
Deputies and Cullman police officers attempted to locate Brown but were unsuccessful.
The CCSO said Brown has active warrants.
“Any information as to his whereabouts is greatly appreciated,” the CCSO said in a statement. “Deputies will continue to be in the area as well. Thank you for the continued support.”
