A Memorial Service for Marlon Randall Bates, age 63 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Dennis Bates and Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating.
Mr. Bates passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at his residence. He was born Monday, July 25, 1960, to Mervin Bates and Geraldine Bates.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Bates.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bates; son, Joshua Levi Brock; daughter, Lindsey Bates (Corey Reeves); grandchildren, Makenna Brock, Alieagh Brock and Noah Brock; brothers, Eddie Bates and Jerome (Michelle) Bates; mother, Geraldine Bates; two nieces and a host of extended family and friends.
