CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman’s first luxury boutique hotel will be open its doors to the public Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The Flying Fifty Hotel is preparing to welcome its first guests as it pays homage to Cullman’s visionary leaders of the 1950s, offering a luxurious experience steeped in the city’s vibrant history.
Owner/Manager Challie Knetter said the grand opening will take place from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
“Tours will be available to the public throughout the day,” she said. “We look forward to sharing The Flying Fifty Hotel with guests. Our goal is to honor those who strived to make Cullman a wonderful community and inspire others to carry on their legacy.”
The hotel will feature seven luxury hybrid self-check-in hotel suites, each with a theme focusing on the region.
“We made a commitment to use Alabama-made products throughout the hotel including Redland Cotton towels, HomTex sheets, Blue Spring Living Water and more,” Knetter said.
The Flying Fifty is conveniently located at 515 Fourth St. SW.
