CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Tribune’s Pet of the Week is fit for the adventures of a lifetime. Gulliver, the Gully Dog, is a tan and black-coated 4-year-old blend of hound and shepherd. He thrives when given a family to cherish, protect and spend his days loving. Gulliver’s travels were not always kind to him, as the staff at the shelter has been busy giving him treats and belly rubs, returning some jiggle to his middle and pep to his step.
The humble, leash-savvy pup is apt to contentedly follow his handler wherever they may end up, always ecstatic to tag along for the trip. His low to medium energy level is perfect for leisurely walks and stopping to smell the roses. His calm demeanor allows Gulliver to be the quintessential companion or therapeutic addition to a family.
Are you ready to meet Gulliver? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.
His adoption fee of $130 includes neuter, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
