Funeral Service for Bobby Gene Meherg, age 84 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Fairview with Dr. David Chambers officiating; burial at First Baptist Church of Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Fairview.
Mr. Meherg passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at his residence. He was born Monday, January 22, 1940, to Richard Lem Meherg and Lena Bell Meherg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Billie Jo Livingston, Faye Carr, Megnia Joan Terry; brother, James Meherg.
Survivors include his wife Dura Meherg; daughter, Lisa (Marvin) Jones; sons Kevin (Lisa) Meherg and Mark Meherg; brother, John (Joy) Meherg, sister Becky (Arthur) Talley; grandchildren, Christina and Luke Meherg, Lauren Jones Masters, Ryan, Christopher and Andrew Jones, Isabella Jones Sahyouni, Savanna Meherg; 8 great grandchildren.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
