Funeral service for Anthony Shawn Murphree, age 52, of Holly Pond, will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at with Rev. Tim Dubberly officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Murphree passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his residence. He was born Sunday, Oct. 24, 1971, in Alabama to Anthony Sherman Murphree and Diane Specht.
He was preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, Rayburn Collier; grandparents Ed (Glenice) Smith; stepfather, Max “Pops” Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Bethany Murphree; daughters, Maddie (Kyle) Calvert, Kaidence Murphree and son, Lake Murphree; granddaughter, Etta Calvert; mother, Diane (Clancy) Specht; brother, Scott (Samantha) Murphree; nephews, Eric, Dexter and Deklin Murphree and Seth and Noah Collier; niece, Desi Murphree; mother-in-law, Sandra Collier; brothers-in-law Jeremy (Christy) Collier and Jamie Collier; best friends, Derrick “Debo” Briscoe and Kevin Folds.
