CULLMAN, Ala. – Primary and elementary parents seeking more information on what the Alabama Numeracy Act means for local schools can learn more on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Cullman City Schools Numeracy Night, which will be hosted at Cullman High School in Tillman Hall from 4-5:30 p.m.

The event is open to K-5 families, and the school system will share an informational presentation that includes some frequently asked questions concerning the State’s new Numeracy Law, math strategies and some take-away math games families can enjoy at home.

The Alabama Numeracy Act was passed in 2022 and focuses on trying to improve math preparation and performance in Alabama primary and elementary schools.

Street Kitchen and Mr. Chuy’s food trucks will also be parked out front of the campus.
