Nita Joyce Cooper, age 78, of Arley, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 9, 1945 in Jasper, Alabama.
Family will hold a memorial graveside service Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery (Piney Woods Community). Brother James Aaron will officiate.
Nita is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Kenneth) Banks; son, Tim (Diedre) Cooper; grandchildren, Tiffany Banks, Jamie (Caleb) Hawkins, Jessica (Jason) Gilbert, Chaz Cooper, and Cade (Breanna) Cooper; great grandchildren, Jaxon (Abigail) Banks, Hannah (Logan) Williams, Kane Banks, Kayne Hawkins, and Camryn Hawkins; and great-great-grandchildren, Jax Cooper, Everleigh Banks, and Lainey Jo Camp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Cooper; father, Rufus Pierce; mother, Pauline Williams; and daughter in law, Dee Dee Cooper.
