The missing woman who was found deceased has been identified according to the Cullman Police Department.
“The woman has been identified as Gloria Parker,” Nassetta said. “Her body will be sent to Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy to assist in determining the cause of her death.”
CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Police Department on Wednesday morning, Feb. 21, located the body of a woman who was reported missing about two hours before.
Police Chief David Nassetta said the 69-year-old female was reported missing by her family.
“After a brief search in a wooded area around her home, she was located, deceased,” Nassetta said. “It is very early in the investigation, but at this time, her death does not appear to be suspicious.”
Nassetta said the woman was last seen on Friday, Feb. 16, at her home on Scott Street.
“We received the call at 8:12 this morning, and she was located at 10:08 a.m.,” Nassetta said.
