Geneva was born Aug. 20, 1952 to John H. Fillmore and Odell Louise Hardin Fillmore. She passed from this life on Feb. 14, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Wayne Coggins; son, Jerry Lynn Coggins; two brothers; two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Murphree (Peggy), and Michael Coggins (Jessica); brother, John Fillmore (Martha); sister, Jackie Jones; six grandchildren, Brayden Coggins, Case Coggins, Jay Lumley (Brandi), Pam Gorff (Brian), Payton Coggins (Emily), Tyler Coggins; nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
Geneva is remembered by family as loving her grandkids very much. She loved to sew and crochet blankets and she loved horses and Chihuahuas. She also loved her family at Cullman Health and Rehab very much as well. She will be very missed.
