CULLMAN, Ala.- Cullman City Schools will host a job fair in Cullman High School’s Tillman Hall on Thursday, March 21, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Department positions at each city school will be posted at the fair, including certified teachers, cafeteria workers, support personnel, clerical personnel and more.
Cullman City Schools Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff said, “We are always seeking the best educators and employees to meet the needs of our students, families and schools. Each school will have a table set up for potential future employees to visit. They will answer any questions and share specific details about their campuses.”
Kallhoff explained the reasoning behind hosting the job fair, saying, “In previous years we invested in attending job fairs in the surrounding areas with little success. This year, we are hosting our own job fair so we can involve all administrators and zero in on qualified applicants who are ready to join one of the best school systems in Alabama.”
The school system schedule is a positive draw for many hopeful employees, and the benefits are a little known, well, benefit. Benefits are available to all employees, subject to some limitations. Benefits available to all employees include $15,000 board-paid life insurance as well as matching board-paid accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance and a $200 bonus for perfect attendance. Certified teachers are also eligible for reimbursement of any fees accrued for obtaining certification and up to a $5,000 supplement on top of the Alabama State Department of Education supplement.
The job fair will be hosted on Thursday, March 21, in Cullman High School’s Tillman Hall from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Cullman High School is located at 510 13th St. NE.
