Joseph Mitchell Wilson, age 74, of Hanceville, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024 at Cullman Regional. He was born, May 21, 1949 to Allen Joseph Wilson and Roxy Vernice Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, LaQuita (Olalekan) Wilson-Sanusi, Troy (Glenda) Wilson, Crystal (Andreia) Wilson, Seth Wilson (Sydara Brown), Ercy Wilson, Essence Wilson (Brandon Gamble), Nikia Wilson; 17 grandchilden; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Victoria) Twitty; sisters, Eartha Cole, Carmen Hubbard, Jacqueline Marshall, Delynda Fields and DeLisa Fields; aunts, Martha Foster and Laverne Hubbard; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
