FAIRVIEW, Ala. – On Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, The Crossing will holding its
Raise a Hallelujah” benefit singing at Fairview Methodist Church.
The Crossing is nonprofit that provides food, hygiene products and clothes for people in need all around Cullman. The organization was founded and is directed by Melissa Hudson. It is run by volunteers and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays to collect canned food, clothes and monetary donations.
The benefit will have two guest singing groups including New Day Revival and Three on a Wing. There will be three hours of worship. Fairview Methodist Church has donated the space, and all proceeds will go to The Crossing’s food pantry, clothes closet and prayer and Bible ministry. During the event, canned food and monetary donations will be accepted.
“Come join us to raise a hallelujah for the King!” exclaimed Hudson.
Hudson said she and her team of volunteers are driven to minister to and serve the community of Cullman. She said they desire to spread the word of God and give to people. They hold multiple fundraisers.
“We’d really like to see everyone there to worship and help everyone who is in need around Cullman,” said Hudson.
The benefit will take place Saturday, Feb. 17, from 6-9 p.m. at Fairview Methodist Church. For more information, call Hudson at 256-636-6091.
