CULLMAN, Ala. – Winners. W-I-N-N-E-R-S. Winners. That’s what all the student competitors headed to the Cullman County Spelling Bee are. Each bested his or her classmates and earned a place in the county bee, which will take place Monday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Cullman.
Participating students include:

- Fairview Elementary- Chloe Walker, grade 5
- Good Hope Elementary- Lincoln Mills, grade 5
- Hanceville Elementary- Mason Bartlett, grade 5

- Holly Pond K-8- BreLynn Necklaus, grade 5
- Parkside- River Stinson, grade 7
- Vinemont Elementary- Andrew Ashley, grade 5
- Welti Elementary- Kayden Cross, grade 5
- West Point Elementary- Addington Cardin, grade 4
- East Elementary- Talyn McClendon, grade 5
- West Elementary- Zayden Smith, grade 6
The winner of the Cullman County Spelling Bee will be heading to the 2024 Alabama State Spelling Bee at the University of Alabama at Birmingham on March 16.
