CULLMAN, Ala. – Arrests made by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) recently include:

Jan. 11

Deputies arrested Christopher Lee Gamel, 35, of Arab, on a failure to appear warrant stemming from an incident that was reported in February 2023. 

Gamel is charged with first-degree sexual abuse.

Deputies arrested Heather Shawn Elizabeth Lance, 26, of Cullman, on an outstanding warrant from an incident that happened in November 2023.

She is charged with child abuse.

Lance has been incarcerated in the Cullman County Detention Center since December on other charges.

Deputies arrested Celina Jackie Overton, 29, of Hartselle, on a failure to appear warrant from an  incident that occurred in 2022. 

She is charged with child abuse.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop of a motorcycle in the Dodge City area. Jason Howard South, 46, of Falkville, was identified as the driver. 

A subsequent search of his person allegedly yielded paraphernalia and narcotics. It was also determined that South had multiple failure to appear warrants. 

He is charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as FTAs for six traffic violations, unlawful possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

Jan. 13

Deputies arrested Christopher Marquez Fitzpatrick, 31, of Hanceville, on a probation revocation warrant for the charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
