CULLMAN, Ala. – Planning ahead for an intimate, upscale date night experience this Valentine’s Day? Find a sitter for the children and slip on something nice, because Stone Bridge Farms and Sophia’s are gearing up for a Valentine’s Celebration. The event will take place from 5-9 p.m. at the Browne Stone Center at Stone Bridge Farms, on Saturday, Feb. 10. Reservations are required and the cost for the evening is $50 per attendee.
Renowned pianist, Mark Kovaly, a recording sensation known for his epic and entertaining “dueling pianos” set, will provide live entertainment for the evening.
A delectable Southern menu is on tap, including entrée choices of chicken cordon bleu, prime rib, ribeye steak, friend Gulf shrimp and fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken or shrimp. Side options such as twice baked potatoes, green beans, herb-roasted veggies, sauteed mushrooms, squash casserole and a fresh garden salad bar will be available, too, and don’t forget the decadent desserts.
The house florist will be accepting custom arrangement orders to woo and wow even the most romance adverse of dates. Flowers can be ordered in advance by calling 256-734-9765. Those who order by noon on Feb. 9 are offered a discount.
