Funeral service for Emileen P. Tolbert, age 88, of Vinemont, will be Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with Bro. Jr. Garmon officiating. Family will welcome friends from 1 p.m. until 2 pm. Interment will be held at Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Tolbert was born Dec. 26, 1935, to William O. Pigg and Alma McAbee Pigg. She passed from this life on Jan. 22, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Timothy Tolbert; son, Ricky Tolbert; sister, Pauline Frost; grandson, Wayne Tolbert; great-granddaughter, Aspen Bailey.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa (Rick) Lathan, Marsha (Joe) Breckinridge, and Sonja (Keith) McSwain; one sister, Shirley Newberry; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chase Hollingsworth, Jasen McSwain, Cooper McSwain, Justin Lee, Jonathan Pilgrim, Brent Breedlove, Mark Walker.
Emileen was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and reading and loved to travel. She will be so missed.
