Funeral service for Elouise Thomas, age 88, of Cullman, is Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Tony Thomas officiating. Family will welcome friends from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Simcoe Methodist Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas was born Nov. 4, 1935 to Clyde Moody and Verdie Mae Hardy Moody. She passed from this life on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.J. “Ballie” Thomas; son, Danny Thomas; grandsons, Eli, Isaac, Nathan, and Jake Thomas; sisters, Ellen Wolfe, and Wilma Burden; brother, Bennie Moody.
She is survived by her three sons, Greg Thomas, Tony (Dinah) Thomas, and Jeff (Shearld) Thomas; sister, Willene (Wayne) Creel; grandchildren, Jed Thomas, and Lisa (Kevin) Horton; four great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers: Kade Horton, Kohl Horton, Jed Thomas, Kadin Thomas, Mike Hopper, Greg Boatright.
Elouise was remembered by family as a servant to all. She was a member of Simcoe Community Methodist Church. She loved flowers and working in her garden. She loved her family very much, but most of all, she loved her Lord. She will be greatly missed.
