Kendall Rooks awarded degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic

DAVENPORT, Iowa –  Kendall Rooks of South Vinemont graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus in Port Orange, Florida on Dec. 15, 2023.

Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange, Florida.

Troy University announces Chancellor’s List, Provost’s List for Fall Semester/Term 2

TROY, Ala. – Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor’s List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor’s List.

Local students who made the list include:

  • Hannah Dempster of Cullman
  • Brooks Stephenson of Bremen
  • Cady Martin of Cullman
  • Sarah Laney of Cullman
  • Lily Latham of Vinemont

Troy University is also pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost’s List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost’s List.

  • Colton Lindsey of Cullman

Freed-Hardeman University announces Fall 2023 President’s, Dean’s Lists

HENDERSON, Tenn. –  Freed-Hardeman University has released the names of students who made the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Fall 2023 semester. To be on the President’s List, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 grade point average. Students on the Dean’s List have earned a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the semester.

The following students from the coverage have been recognized:

  • Reagan Malone, a junior from Arab, has been named on the Dean’s List. Malone is earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Administration.
  • Gavin Boler, a junior from Joppa, has been named on the President’s List. Boler is earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Information Systems.
  • Ethan Thomas, a sophomore from Arab, has been named on the President’s List. Thomas is earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
