Teresa Ann Elkins, 63, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1960 in Haleyville, Alabama to Elbert and Lockcile Clark Elkins.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church (County Road 20 Delmar) where the service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Brother Keith Hood will officiate.
Teresa is survived by her father, Elbert Elkins; children, Jamie Smith, Steven (Hope) Purser; grandchildren, Marissa Greer, Devanie Purser, Brynlee Purser; great-grandchildren, Elias Brock, Sahmara Brock, Judah Greer – Manasco; siblings, Danny (Rita) Elkins, Bryon (Lorine) Elkins, Julie Dantzler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lockcile Elkins; grandparents, J.I. and Annie Elkins, Dave and Lora Clark; sibling, David Elkins; grandchild, Kirsten Greer-Brock.
