A graveside service for Betty Joyce Ashley Hines, 91, of Hanceville, AL will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2023 at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. Visitation will be at Hanceville Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Survivors include her children, Melonie (L.C.) Rape, Crystal (Jerry Brannon) Hines and Amanda Hines Middleton; grandchildren, Melinda Rape, Leonard C. Rape, Angie (Nathan) Allred and Christina (Josh) Warren; great-grandchildren, Isabella Allred, Gabrielle Allred, Aiden Christopher Elrod and Owen Robert Elrod.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alfred Eugene Ashley and Emma Maude Griffith Ashley; and siblings, Emma Jean Ashely Gamble, Anna Lou Ashley Cupp, Raymond Ashley and Edward Ashley.
The family would like to express their thanks to Affinity Hospice for their compassion and care; with a special ‘Thank You’ to her nurse, Savannah.
