Thomas Junior Fuller was born Sep. 30, 1943, in Cullman, Alabama. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, he finally found peace on Jan. 1, 2024, surrounded by family. Junior was 80 years of age.

Junior is survived by his loving wife and faithful caregiver, Joyce Scott Fuller. They were married 49 years and together raised four children: Gregory Nicholas (Rita), Mendy Kiolbassa (Jeff), Leah Bolin (Mark), and Jennie Elliot. From these blessings came eleven grandchildren: Gregory “Nick” Nicholas, Audrey Nicholas, Heather Johnson, Tyler Johnson (Ashley), Chandler Kiolbassa, Alex Kiolbassa, Nicholas Bolin (Kristin), Thomas Bolin (Melissa), Timothy Bolin, Zach Witcher (Brittni) and Allie Witcher; and five great grandchildren: Charlotte Johnson, Liam Witcher, Logan Witcher, Emma Haile, and Delylah Haile. Junior was predeceased in death by his father T.O. Fuller and mother, Flora Bradberry Fuller.

For most of his life, Junior was in the grocery business while simultaneously working as a professional contract painter. He worked these two jobs for over 25 years. In 1983 he and Joyce started their own property development business leasing apartments and flipping houses. His hard work was rewarded with several years of travel. He and Joyce visited all 50 states, traveled much of Europe, all the Caribbean Islands and had many adventures together.

Junior loved Jesus, family, golf, and college football! (in that order) He also loved people and had a host of friends to testify to his abundant generosity, compassion and loyal nature. Although he will be missed by so many of us, we are joyful that he is in his new body with a renewed mind. Our family would like to invite you to celebrate his life with us on Jan. 4 at Cullman First Baptist Church. Visitation 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. and funeral to follow at 2 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorable contributions be made to a local charity of your choice.
