MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The AHSAA’s Central Board met Monday morning to hash out the fall sports classifications for the 2024-26 school years and after a long deliberation, the board released new regional, sectional and area maps for fall sports. A couple of notable moves among local schools are Holly Pond moving back up from Class 2A to 3A and Hanceville making the move down to Class 3A from Class 4A.
