Mary Lou Nix Graveman, 87, of Cullman, Alabama, went home to be with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband, Joe on Dec. 6, 2023. Mary was born on Nov. 22, 1936 to Thomas Wesley Nix and Sarah Idella Haynes Nix.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at the Cullman City Cemetery following the funeral service. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday.

Mary was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was loved so much by her children, grandchildren and so many others. She loved to be with her family anytime she could and enjoyed celebrating birthdays and holidays with them.
Mary was a long time member of Brickyard Baptist Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant son Jonathan Graveman; brothers, Gilbert Nix, Buddy Nix, Tommy Nix and Jim Nix; sisters, Loveda Hacker, Evelyn Alsbrooks, Lena Campbell, Hilda Smith and Betty Mizerany; granddaughter, Stephanie Graveman
Mary is survived by sons Bernard (Cindy) Graveman and Mike (Imelda) Graveman; daughters, Kathy (Terry) Parker and Melissa (Darin) Richard; sisters, Doris Lessman and Hazel (Martin) Graveman; grandchildren, Jeremy Graveman, Shane Graveman, Michelle (Cartis Higginbotham, Jason (Jamie) White, Tyler Richard, Jonathon Allums, Colton (Meagan) Richard, Nicole (Wyatt) Andrews and Kristian Graveman; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Shane Graveman, Jason White, Tyler Richard, Colton Richard, Kristian Graveman and Wyatt Andrews.
