Funeral Service for Auston “Auzz” Riley Thomason, age 24, will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Tim McCormick officiating; interment in Cullman Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Thomason passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. He was born June 1, 1999, to Ted Randy Thomason and Mary Thomason.
Auzz loved SEC football and especially Auburn football. He was an avid songwriter.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ethredge Thomason; grandmother, Lorena Berry Brown; grandfather, William August Brown; and uncles, Eugene Thomason, Elvie Brown, and Billy Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Brown Thomason; father, Ted Randy Thomason; stepfather, Michael Grell; sisters, Robin Thomason (Thomas) Brock and Nedaeh Thomason; grandmother, Betty Evans Thomason; nephews, Peyton Campbell and Taylor Campbell; uncles, Horace Brown, Vic Brown, and Jim Brown; special friends, Matthew Harrington, Mark Harrington, and Corey Harrington; and a host of cousins and friends.
