Funeral service for Shelia Boatright Cofer, age 66, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Emeus Baptist Church with Greg Aldridge officiating; interment in Emeus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service. An additional visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Ms. Cofer passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1957, to William Eugene Boatright and Rosemary Boatright.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Bentley Cofer; parents; brother, Bill Boatright; father-in-law, Calvin Cofer; and mother-in-law, Margaret Cofer.
Survivors include her children, Amanda (Danny) Cofer, Tina (Lee) Cofer, Roman (Cassidy) Cofer, Makayla (Colton) Kugler, Brian Smith, Bailey (Briana) Cofer, and Zaza Thompson; grandchildren, Lacie (Chris) Burks, Caleb (Kaitlyn) Ward, Savanna (Corey) Doss, Hayden (Morgan) Adamson, Gracie Cofer, Hayleigh Cofer, Braylee Cofer, Maycee Cofer, Gabe Kugler, Hadlee Kugler, Lilah Kugler, Baby girl Kugler, Colton (Mattie) Smith, Breaunah (Montgomery) Miller, and Jo Smith; twelve great-grandchildren; loving father of her children, Phillip (Wanda) Cofer; brother, Steve Boatright; sister, Sylvia Boatright; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
