Funeral service for Helen Marie Holcomb, age 91, of Baileyton, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Nicky James officiating; interment in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holcomb passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born April 27, 1932, to Elip Lige Buckelew and Omie Versie Buckelew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvel Holcomb; parents; and brothers, Ottis (Geraldine) Buckelew and Afton (Rose) Buckelew.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita (Bill) Nelson; son, Tony (Rita) Holcomb; grandchildren, Jacy (Kelly) Douglas, Jared (Sarah) Thompson, Jody (Elen) Thompson, Andrea (Daniel) Gullion, Gregory (Mallory) Holcomb, Jeffery (Amanda) Holcomb, Jason (Kim) Nelson, Cory (Danna) Nelson, and Miranda (Mark) Sahrhage; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
