Janice passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023. She was born Oct. 13, 1951 to William Clark Griffith and Gladys Black Griffith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold Wayne Hinkle; niece, Bridget Monts.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristy (Adam) Sparks; son, Bryan (Crystal) Staton; brothers, Jackie (Rhonda) Griffith, Timothy (Pauline) Griffith; sister, Teresa (Toby) Monts; Five grandchildren, Jamie Myers, Savannah Myers, Cameron Staton, Peyton Staton, Dalton Staton; a host of nieces and nephews; family and friends.
Janice was a strong woman with a pure heart, who never had an enemy. She loved her grand babies so much and people called her the “world’s nanny” because she cared for everyone like they were her own. She was a wonderful lady who will be missed so much.
Family wishes to extend a special thank you to Janice’s “3 amigos”, her CNAs, Sasha Brisco, Ashley Hodges, and Rebeca Figueroa at Woodland Village Nursing Home. And they wish to say “Fly high Shawty” to Janice, as that’s what they always lovingly called her.
