CULLMAN, Ala. – Alvin, an approximately 4-month-old male Labrador mix with a creamy ivory coat, is available for adoption at Cullman County Animal Shelter.

Alvin is a low-to-medium energy kind of guy who is in touch with his sensitive side. He finds solace in his day-to-day routine in the presence of human company and prefers to keep them in his sight. Alvin lives up to his name meaning “noble friend,” and should he detect that something is amiss, he’ll sit beside you and let a soft howl loose to let you know you aren’t alone.

While Alvin is currently slender and perhaps even a bit lanky, he’s slowly putting on some much-needed pounds and will shape up to be a healthy growing boy. Shelter advocate Donna Ruttkay described Alvin as a “rough and tough cream puff” who exudes happiness and finds comfort in your company.

Are you ready to bring Alvin home? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

His adoption fee includes neuter, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
