CULLMAN, Ala. – Following a late October arrest for illegal possession of prescription steroid drugs, Bradford Meeks, 33, of Bremen, faces the possible revocation of his probation. Meeks was sentenced in 2020 to 10 years for criminally negligent homicide for the 2017 drunk driving death of Cullman High School student Curt Wilson, but an Alabama Appeals Court overturned the sentence in 2021, ordering that he serve no more than two years. Meeks was placed on probation in April 2023.

Meeks was reported by a Court Referral Officer for missing a drug test on Oct. 19, and was charged on Oct. 23 with misdemeanor possession of multiple steroid drugs known to be used illegally by athletes. He made his initial appearance on Nov. 8 in the revocation case, and a hearing is scheduled for Dec. 20.

Meeks still faces misdemeanor harassment charges from 2019, and felony methamphetamine possession charges from 2021. That drug case is currently scheduled for trial on Dec. 11.
