CULLMAN, Ala. – Kirby, an approximately 3-year-old male pit terrier mix with a funky patterned coat is available for adoption at the Cullman County Animal Shelter.

Kirby has had a rough go at life recently, but realizing he is now safe from harm at the shelter, has blossomed into a true companion. He maintains a low energy level and would much prefer to be curled by your feet as you read, or nestled next to you on the couch for a nap after your upcoming Thanksgiving feast.

Kirby thrives in the company of humans, and his sweet and gentle nature shines through in every interaction. While he has a spirit of thanks for any form of cuddles or affection, he particularly enjoys a good head and ears massage!

Kirby is ready for a warm home, safe from harm. Are you ready to give it to him? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

His adoption fee includes neuter, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
