Betty Jean Leipert, age 88, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023. She was born on March 3, 1935 in Cullman, Alabama to Jesse Lee and Vanara Marie Newsom.
Mrs. Leipert was a caring mother and diligent house wife who worked selflessly to care for her family’s needs. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Eugene Ferriel Leipert, brother: Willard Newsom, and sisters: Faye Letson, and Ann Rhorscheib.
Survivors are: brother: Dennis Newsom, daughter: Beverly (Tony) Barnett, son: Randy (Dina) Leipert, grandchildren: Bryan Barnett, Brandi (Jake) Hooper and Jesse Leipert.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Leipert officiating. Interment will follow services at Cullman Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 form 12 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.
