Funeral Mass for Theodore Martin Schaefers, age 94, of Cullman, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, at Sacred Heart Church with Father Patrick Egan, OSB officiating; interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at Sacred Heart Church with the rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Schaefers passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at Cullman Regional. He was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Cullman, Alabama, to Joseph Schaefers and Theresa Schaefers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bernard Schaefers, Edward Schaefers, Jimmy Schaefers, and Melvin Schaefers; and sisters, Helen Davis and Cecelia Kinney,
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Rachel Gross Schaefers; daughter, Karen S. (Thomas) Caldwell; son, Charlie Martin (Ruthann) Schaefers; grandchildren, Jessica M. (Michael) White and Sarah (Phillip) Jennings; great-grandchild, Riley Jennings; brother, Tommy (Hulda) Schaefers; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
