CULLMAN, Ala. – Redemption Church in Cullman will host a “Judgement House” titles “Collision” Oct. 27-29.
According to Pastor Rachel Thompson, a Judgment House is a six to eight-scene walk-through drama that presents people’s choices and what the church believes are the consequences that come from those choices, both in this life and the life after.
“It is an effective tool for churches and ministries across the U.S. and the world to communicate the Gospel of Jesus to those who might not attend a church or hear a Sunday sermon,” Thompson said. “I have had a vision of having a Judgment House for years. I can remember as a preteen and teenager going to Judgement House in my small town and the impact that they left on my own life. I have always wanted to host one at our church and see people lives change the way mine was. So this year we were able to make it happen, with the original writer and founder of Judgment House, Tom and Karen Hudgins, and his crew coming from Florida to help us. We wanted to offer something to our community for the youth and young adults to be able to attend to show how quickly life can change, but also to show the love of God and offer prayer for everyone that comes through the Judgment House.”
Thompson said the Judgment House is not recommended for children younger than 10, but said that is at the parents- discretion.
The event is free to the public. It will be held Oct. 27-29, starting at 7 p.m. The church is located at 516 Schaeffel Road in Cullman.
