6 teams advance to Cullman County Youth Football Championship Games

GOOD HOPE, Ala. – The semifinal round of this year’ s Cullman County Youth Football playoffs were hosted at Good Hope’s James W. Shabel Stadium Saturday and after six hard-fought games, next week’s championship matchups are now set.

In the Fireplug games, the Vinemont Eagles took on the West Point Warriors and the Good Hope Raiders faced off against the Fairview Aggies. The Wee-Wee contests featured games between the Good Hope Raiders and the Fairview Aggies and the West Point Warriors and the Holly Pond Broncos. In the Pee-Wee matchups, Vinemont battled the Holly Pond Broncos, and the West Point Warriors faced the Cullman Bearcats.

Raiders 40 – Aggies 0

Broncos 12 – Warriors 0


Pee-Wee Semifinals

Eagles 14 – Broncos 0

Warriors 27 – Bearcats 6

Fireplug Semifinals

Eagles 14 – Warriors 0

Raiders 12 – Aggies 0

This year’s Cullman County Youth Football Championship Games will be played at Good Hope starting with the Wee-Wee game between Good Hope and Holly Pond at 2 p.m. with Pee-Wee and Fireplug title games to follow.
