Graveside Service for John Frutiger, age 79, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Frutiger passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at his residence. He was born July 26, 1944, to James C. Frutiger and Virginia Scott Frutiger.
Mr. Frutiger was a Public Health Environmentalist for the Cullman County Health Department for 31 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Ann Fields.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Frutiger; son, Jonathan Frutiger; daughter, Mary Kathryn (Ted) Baker; stepson, Gordon Cobb; grandchildren, Mary Miller Baker, Anna Scott Baker, Reagan Cobb, and Reese Cobb; brother, Thomas Frutiger; and brother-in-law, Larry Fields.
