Funeral services for Vira Darleen Hancock-Baker, 86, of Canal Winchester, Ohio will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2023 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Julian Swann will be officiating.
The burial will follow at Addington Chapel Cemetery in Bremen, Alabama. Visitation for the public will be on Monday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home prior to the service.
Mrs. Baker was born on June 13, 1937, in Cullman County, Alabama to the late John Hancock and Cora Freeman. She passed away on Oct. 5, 2023, at her residence in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
Survivors include her children, Bobby Baker (Gloria) and Phil Baker (Donna); grandchildren, Josh Baker (Alicia), Courtney Baroody, Ashley Grizzaffi, and Jonathon Mueller; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Judy Swann.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Baker; and daughter, Patricia Mueller.
