A Memorial Worship Service for Thomas A. Leggett, Jr., age 76, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 at East Side Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Leggett passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 at his residence. He was born Dec. 24, 1946 to Thomas A. Leggett Sr. and Burma Reid Leggett.
Thomas dedicated over 53 years of his life as a Minister of the gospel, serving in both Methodist and Baptist churches. He received his education from Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama, and went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Mobile College. Thomas further pursued his passion for ministry by obtaining a master’s degree in divinity from New Orleans Theological Seminary and a doctorate in ministry from Luther Rice Seminary.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard B. Leggett.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Angela Leggett; four beautiful daughters, Allison (Paxon) Jeancake, Carrie (Corey) Naccari, Ashley (Clint) Pugh, and Brooke (Jacob) Leggett; four grandchildren, Laura Camille Jeancake, Allison Naccari, Mallory Jeancake, and Vincent Naccari; a sister, Barbara (Matt) Gaston, a sister-in-law, Peggy Leggett; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
